At Lint Security, every install starts with a site survey. We walk your store, look at the layout, and figure out where cameras need to go, which areas need access control, and how the alarm system should be set up. A boutique shop has different needs than a multi-room retail store, so we never assume.
For most retail stores, cameras go on the sales floor, at the entrance and exit, in the stockroom, and at the POS. Access control is usually on the stockroom door and any area where cash is kept. The alarm system covers entry points and adds motion detection after hours.
