Security Systems for Warehouses in North Georgia

Warehouses are hard to secure. Large footprints, multiple entry points, constant vehicle traffic, and valuable inventory all create real exposure. We help warehouse operators across North Georgia get eyes on the whole facility and control over who gets in and out.

What We Hear

The Security Challenges Warehouses Face

  • Large Footprint, Limited Oversight

A warehouse can have tens of thousands of square feet to monitor with only a handful of staff on the floor at any given time. That leaves a lot of blind spots. Without cameras covering receiving areas, storage aisles, loading docks, and exits, it is nearly impossible to know what is happening across the whole facility at once.

  • Inventory Theft, Inside and Out

Product loss in warehouses does not always come from outside. Internal theft is one of the biggest shrinkage drivers in distribution and storage operations. Without cameras and access logs showing who was in what area and when, it is hard to know where losses are coming from. Visible security equipment also works as a deterrent before anything even happens.

  • After-Hours Perimeter Control

Loading docks, employee entrances, vehicle gates, and exterior doors are all access points that need to be secured when the facility closes. Without controlled access, there is no reliable way to know who is on the property after hours. An unauthorized entry late at night may not be discovered until the next morning, well after the damage is done.

  • Managing Vehicle and Truck Traffic

Warehouses with active shipping and receiving operations see a constant flow of delivery trucks and vendor vehicles. Managing who is allowed on the property, when, and through which entrance is a real operational challenge. Automated gate systems give you control over vehicle access without putting a person at the gate all day.

How It Works

The Security Challenges Warehouses Face

Warehouse security is more about coverage and access management than it is about alarms. The goal is knowing who is on the property, what they are doing, and when — across a large space with a lot of moving parts. We start with a site survey to understand your layout, your operation, and where the real exposure points are before we design anything.

Most warehouse installs focus on three things: cameras with full facility coverage, access control on interior and exterior doors, and a controlled entry point for vehicles. For facilities with active receiving operations, we often tie gate control into the overall access setup so vehicle traffic is managed the same way as personnel access.

Here is what a typical warehouse setup looks like in practice:

  • Security Camera Systems: Commercial-grade cameras covering the full facility — loading docks, storage areas, receiving, exits, and the parking lot. Remote viewing lets ownership and management check in from anywhere, and footage is stored on-site for review when something comes up.
  • Access Control: Credential-based access on employee entrances, interior restricted areas, and any space where inventory or sensitive materials are stored. Every entry is logged with a timestamp and credential, giving you a complete record of who was where and when.

Why Lint Security

We're Not Here to Make a Sale. We're Here to Earn Your Trust.

Anyone can sell you a security system. Not everyone will still be there when something goes wrong ten years later. We will be.

  • Family Owned and Operated

National companies sell accounts, close branches, and route you to out-of-state call centers. Lint Security has been here since 1985 and grew entirely on word of mouth.

  • Our People. Start to Finish.

From the first call to the final installation, every person you interact with is a Lint employee. Not a contractor. Not a call center. Someone who works here every day.

  • A real person calls and text

When your alarm goes off, our monitoring partner Criticom calls you right away. If you do not answer, they send police or fire. No app alert. A real person.

  • We visit before we quote

ADT and Vivint sell you a package over the phone. We come to your property first and build a system around what you actually need.

  • Licensed and Certified

We hold a GA LVA license plus Access Control, and CCTV certifications. Every job is done by our own technicians.

  • What areas of a warehouse need the most camera coverage?

Loading docks and receiving areas are the highest priority — that is where inventory comes in and goes out. Storage aisles, exits, and the parking lot are also important. If you have a manager’s office, a safe, or a high-value product storage room on site, those are worth covering too. The size of your facility determines how many cameras you actually need. We figure that out during the site survey.

  • Can access control help reduce internal theft?

Yes. Access control creates a log of who entered each area of the facility and when. If inventory goes missing in a specific zone, you have a record of who had access. Restricting high-value storage areas to specific employees also reduces opportunity. Cameras and access logs together make it much easier to investigate when something comes up and give you documentation if you need to take action.

  • Can I monitor multiple warehouse locations from one place?

Yes. Commercial camera systems we install support remote viewing through an app on your phone or computer. If you manage multiple locations, you can pull up any camera at any site from a single device. We have worked with multi-site operations throughout North Georgia and can design a system that fits a distributed operation.

  • How does automated gate control work for shipping and receiving?

Approved delivery drivers and vendors can be given a keypad code or credential to enter during designated hours. The system logs every entry so you have a record of who came onto the property and when. After hours, the gate stays closed and only authorized personnel can enter. Access codes and schedules can be updated remotely so you do not have to be on-site to make changes.

  • Do you install warehouse security systems outside of Gainesville?

Yes. We install security systems for warehouses and commercial facilities throughout North Georgia, including Gainesville, Cornelia, Dahlonega, Cleveland, and the surrounding areas. Contact us to schedule a free site survey at your facility.
