  • What is the difference between HD and megapixel cameras?

    HD cameras record at 1280×720 resolution. Megapixel cameras go higher. 2 megapixels is double the resolution of HD, and we install cameras up to 10 megapixels. If you want to read a license plate at the end of your driveway or identify a face at distance, megapixel cameras are worth the upgrade.

  • Can I view my cameras from my phone?

    Yes. We use Alarm.com for residential camera installations, which includes a mobile app for live and recorded viewing from your phone, tablet, or computer. You can check in from anywhere with an internet connection.

  • Where should I put cameras on my home?

    Every property is different, which is why we start with a free on-site survey before recommending anything. We generally focus on front and back doors, driveways, and side entry points. Schedule your free site survey and we will walk your property together.

  • Do solar cameras work in cloudy weather?

    Yes. Solar cameras include battery storage that keeps them running through overcast days and overnight. They are designed for real-world conditions, not just sunny days.

  • Can I add cameras to an existing security system?

    In most cases, yes. If you already have a Lint Security system or an Alarm.com-compatible panel, we can add cameras and bring everything into one app. Call or contact us and we can assess your existing setup.

  • Do I need a permit to install security cameras in Georgia?

    Exterior cameras on your own private property generally do not require a permit in Georgia. Placement rules can vary by HOA or local ordinance. If you have specific concerns, mention it when you schedule your site survey.
