In most cases, yes. If your existing gate is structurally sound, we can add an electric opener without replacing the full gate. We assess the existing gate during the site survey to confirm compatibility and recommend the right operator for your setup.
What types of gates do you work with?
We install openers on swing gates, sliding gates, and barrier arm systems. Single and dual swing gate configurations are both supported. The right operator depends on your gate type, gate weight, and how frequently it will be used each day.
What happens to my gate if the power goes out?
Most gate operators include a manual release so the gate can be opened by hand during an outage. Battery backup units are also available to keep your gate running automatically. We go over the best option for your property during the site survey.
Can my gate be connected to my home security system?
Yes. We integrate gate control with your security system and the Alarm.com app so every gate open and close is logged with a timestamp. You can also control the gate from your phone and receive a notification whenever it is triggered.
Does an automated gate actually improve home security?
A gate creates a physical barrier and a deterrence layer, but it works best as part of a complete setup. Paired with security cameras, motion sensors, and professional monitoring, a controlled gate entry gives you visibility and control over who approaches your property. We can design a full perimeter setup during the site survey.
