What's Included

A Complete System, Built for Your Home

Every Lint Security system is designed around your property, not pulled from a generic package. Here's what a full home security installation typically includes.

  • Smoke & Flame Detection

We place smoke and flame detectors throughout your home per NFPA 72 requirements, covering every sleeping area, hallway, and level.

  • Carbon Monoxide Detection

CO is invisible and odorless. If you have gas appliances, a furnace, or a fireplace, CO detectors belong on every level.

  • Water Flow Alarms

Optional add-on that catches pipe leaks before they cause major water damage, especially near HVAC systems, water heaters, and mechanical rooms.

  • Voice-Activated Sirens

Voice-driver sirens announce fire or intrusion alerts so your family knows whether to evacuate or shelter in place without guessing.

  • 24-Hour Battery Backup

All fire systems we install maintain a minimum of 24 hours of battery backup as required by NFPA 72. Your alarms will work during a power outage.

  • Monitoring Integration

Integrate your fire alarm with our 24/7 professional monitoring service so the monitoring center dispatches the fire department the moment your alarm triggers.

Have Questions? We Have Answers.

Security is a significant decision. Most people have questions before they're ready to call. Here are the ones we hear most.

See all FAQs
  • Where should smoke detectors be placed in my home?

According to NFPA 72, there should be at least one smoke detector outside each sleeping area and one on every level of the home. In new construction, one is also required inside each bedroom. We follow these requirements on every install.

  • Do I need a permit for a residential fire alarm in Georgia?

No. Residential fire alarm and smoke detector installations do not require an installation permit. If you have questions about placement requirements or code compliance for your home, we cover all of that during your site survey.

  • Can my fire alarm be connected to professional monitoring?

Yes. We integrate fire alarm systems with our 24/7 professional monitoring service. If your smoke detector triggers, the monitoring center dispatches the fire department immediately, even if you are not home.

  • Will my fire alarms still work if the power goes out?

Yes. All fire systems we install are required by NFPA 72 to maintain a minimum of 24 hours of battery backup. Your alarms function normally during a power outage.

  • What is the difference between a smoke detector and a flame detector?

Smoke detectors sense smoke particles in the air. Flame detectors sense the infrared or UV signature of an actual flame. In areas like garages or near fireplaces, smoke detectors can produce false alarms, which is where flame detectors are a better fit. We recommend the right combination for your home during the site survey.

  • Can you add carbon monoxide detectors to an existing alarm system?

Yes. If you already have a security or fire alarm system with us, we can add CO detectors and integrate them into your existing panel and monitoring. Give us a call to discuss your current setup.
