See all FAQsWhat happens if an employee loses their keycard?
You deactivate that credential in the system immediately. The lost card cannot be used to enter your building. You issue a replacement without changing anything else in the system. The whole process takes a few minutes.
Can I add more doors to the system later?
Yes. Access control systems are built to expand. If you grow your facility, open a second location, or want to extend coverage to additional entry points, we add capacity to your existing setup without replacing it.
What is the difference between keycard and keypad access?
Keycards and fobs are physical credentials that are tapped or scanned at a reader. Keypad access uses a PIN code entered at a mounted keypad. Both options can run on the same system, and many doors are configured to accept either method so employees can choose. We set up each door based on what makes sense for that location.
Does access control work with my existing security system?
In most cases, yes. Access control integrates with your burglar alarm system and cameras so that events like forced doors or after-hours access appear in the same monitoring platform. We assess compatibility during the site survey. You can also learn more on our business security systems page.
How does access control help with employee accountability?
Every credential creates a timestamped entry in the system log when it is used. You can pull a report showing who entered which door and when. This is useful for verifying hours, investigating incidents, and demonstrating compliance during audits.
