Separately, your cameras connect to the app built for your specific equipment brand, you and your team get real-time access to footage, activity logs, and user codes through that platform. When your alarm triggers, a live Criticom operator responds within 10 seconds. They work through your call list and dispatch police, fire, or emergency services if they cannot reach anyone.
Every employee or key holder gets their own access code. The system logs every arm and disarm with a timestamp so you know who opened up late, who set a false alarm, or who forgot to lock the back door.
The app connected to your camera system lets you view footage, check system status, and manage user codes from your phone. App access and professional monitoring work alongside each other but serve different purposes. The app keeps you informed day to day. Your monitoring center acts when an alarm goes off.
Commercial fire alarm events route through the same Criticom monitoring center. When a smoke or heat detector triggers, the fire department is dispatched immediately without waiting for confirmation from you.

UL stands for Underwriters Laboratories, an independent testing and certification organization. A UL-listed monitoring center has been inspected and verified to meet specific standards for backup power, staffing, response time, and equipment reliability. Our monitoring partner, Criticom, holds this certification. It is earned through independent review, not self-reported.
Criticom operators respond within 10 seconds of an alarm trigger. From there they identify the event type, work through your call list, and dispatch the appropriate authorities. Response time from first responders depends on local availability, but Criticom processes and dispatches without delay on their end.
