Yes. Most of the homes we work on in older North Georgia neighborhoods were not pre-wired for security. We use wireless sensors on doors, windows, and motion zones that do not require drilling through walls or fishing wire through finished ceilings. The panels we install, including 2GIG and Honeywell systems, are designed to work cleanly in older homes. During the site survey, the technician looks at your home specifically and recommends the right approach before anything is ordered or installed.
When an alarm triggers, our monitoring partner Criticom receives the signal and calls you within 10 seconds. That is not a marketing number, it is a standard set by their UL-listed certification. If you do not answer, they call your backup contact and then dispatch police or fire as needed. The call goes out whether you are home, at work, or out of town. The core technology is the same, but the setup changes based on the property. A home in a neighborhood typically needs sensors on entry points and interior motion coverage. A rural property further out usually needs wider camera coverage, longer driveway sensors, and sometimes a gate or perimeter consideration.
